Hello Everyone,
A couple of things here. First, please respond to this thread if you are still an active member or would like to continue participation in the Kinship. Second, please see my post in the Kinship thread on the official forums about whether or not we will be a Europe or U.S. based Kinship. We don't have to make any decisions yet, but I think it's something we should go ahead and start discussing. Basically, as MAWorking has pointed out, we need to decide if we are going to play on a European server or one here in the States.
One idea I had was to keep the Kinship together, but have a European company and a U.S. company. That way, we can still communicate with one another about the game via our forums, but play on servers that are closer to our respective time zones. This is just an idea, and I would love to hear your input.
Eli, I hope you don't mind me taking the initiative here, but I've just been thinking that maybe we need to start reorganizing the Kinship. I've just got this feeling that Beta will be starting sometime this summer....could be wrong, but you never know.
Hope to hear from all of you soon!

I'm still around, I hadn't seen they were having different timezone servers, it's gonna make it rather quiet when I play at 2am and can't sleep ;_;

Hi all I'm sorry for being gone so long. I'm boucing back and forth between games awaiting the MMORPG that will spark interest in gaming again. (played Elder Scrolls Oblivion, a single player game, to try to reach the summit of spurring that spark but have yet to reach it) I'm hoping this game will inspire me to obtain that courage to scale the summit. I myself know that I will never possess the ability to maintain a relationship with others nor the charisma to substain one. What I want to do is apologize to everyone but know the apology will never be enough. Over-dramatic in the first part of what I said maybe but I do owe you all an apology nonetheless and will continue to beat myself up with guilt nonetheless. That is my problem and no one else. You all gave me your names and you deserve my love regardless. At least I've come back on to attempt an explanation. (Though no explanation I can type will be adequate in my thinking; I deserve whatever punishment you all deem necessary...I do hope that I have the ability to post on your forums every so often, I will not ask to retain any sort of membership aka kiship politics for my lack of respect for being absent has certainly negated that) On concerns about Katrina..the people of Lafayette were fortunate to be seperated from New Orleans by distance (around 50 miles or so I reckon) but the people of New Orleans were not so fortunate as you well know. Some of those people have migrated here and I now deal with the influx of popluation as the result. It is stressful I will say. Well that's all I can write after drinking. If I seem outside myself it's because drinking Crown can aid you in that. Anyway I hope you respond. I myself hope to resond again when I can. If it is too long it's through no fault my own. P.S. Wish I could change my name on these boards and on the official forums. Wish it was my forum name that I took in Everquest 2: Devout Desciple. Even though I'm not worthy of such a desciple.

******SPOILER TO ENDING OF ELDER SCROLLS 4**********
ES Oblivion is a very good game, however I could not stand the ending you don't even get to fight him....poor Martin, he sacrificed everything, the blood line of the septimes is over.

This is OT. Hawk did you play as "lightside" or "darkside" (murderer or savior?)

I go away for a while and come back to find this I've been planning on trying to get the kinship going again for a month or so now, but other commitments have prevented that. I hope that after next Friday I'll have a lot more time on my hands; that's the final deadline for all my A-Level coursework. Once I get some work out of the way, I'll be able to put a lot more thought into the kinship, but as of right now, this is a flying visit before going and writing an evaluation. I just want you all to know that I am glad you haven't all disappeared on me Hawkeye, you have no need to appologise. All that really matters is that you're OK. Lets put water under the bridge and leave it there. What happened in the past, happened in the past. There is no need to dwell on it. I'd be happier if we could just start afresh, like it used to be in the good old days The same goes for everyone else too As for the actual issue of being Europe or US based, I'm happy whatever the decision. I wouldn't really want us to split up though, I'd prefer if we could all play on the same server. And since the majority of members are US based, that seems like the logical location. Preferably one on the East Coast though

Elindir it is definetlly good to hear from you again, and I too agree on the server choice.

Thank you very much dear Elindir Whether European or US based I shall be willing to accomadate the choice. I think it shall all depend on our performance on the servers. We may need to sacrifice performance and play on a server that is not so good performance wise if that means someone in the kinship has an easier time on another server performance wise. Though a European server could just be a server actually located in the US. (Some companies do that) @adurûth In Oblivion played a Crusader but did commit two murders in the Daedric Quests...I was undetected by the law though Generally though I'm on the side of right and continue to fight evil wherever it may dwell. Feels mighty good putting those evil buggers back where they belong though.

Yay!! The gang is back. I just finished my last final exam for the semester, so I should be around a little more often this summer. I say we start a planning thread to bounce ideas off of each other on how to get the kinship up and going. BTW, if you haven't logged onto the official forums since December 31, 2005, you'll probably want to do that before the 8th of May. The team is doing a complete wipe of the forums, and those that haven't logged in since last year will have their account deleted. Talk soon. Elfdude P.S. Hawk, glad you're back. Don't leave us again!!!

ELF!!! Hiya Yep I just have to remember to at least post a little every once in awhile. @adurûth hehe I've also murdered my fair share of Alliance on Bronzebeard as an undead warrior via WoW. Now I'm murdering Horde on Malfurion as a human. Whatever race I choose to make my avatar or whether evil/good one thing remains the same: My thirst for blood cannot be sated. hehe -------------------------------------- Bah another edit! Anyway just wanted to let you all know I'm gonna be making another email address for personal emails. Too much spam on the other address. The other one will still work however so you can still send email there. Just remember to have Lords of the Rings Online or Circle of Peace in the title and I should pick up on it. Anyway will let you know what the address is when I have it the mailbox up. Must have edited more than 5 times already...but... Just wanted to let you know I copied the first post in the kinship thread (the one that introduces us, lists our site, and members) in the official forums in preperation of the forum wipe. Oh yeah...I have also copied some of your email addresses to a notepad. I looked you all up individually on the members tab and copied the old addresses in the thread concerning our email. Hope some of our members post before the 8th if they're in danger of being deleted.

If anything is to begin anew...I shall try to send out emails.
About to send an email to all on the members list on this board. Hopefully some of the addresses haven't changed and it finds them.
Sent you three the email too. I wanted you to see what I sent. For all to see.
Edit: hmm couldn't sent it to ya Elf or Eol

I made us another LOTR kinship thread. For a temporary measure. You may create another LOTR thread Elindir when you have free time.

Ewwww, I don't like the new official forums color scheme. I didn't realise all posts would get deleted on there, good thing you saved the thread Hawk Do members have the ability to delete their own thread? If not, then we may as well keep to the thread you posted (provided you don't do another disappearing act ). If you do have the ability to though, then it might look better posted by me; I think some of the colors need changing on it anyway I plan on sending out a mass email soon to all forum members, to try and get some activity here agian. I might have time to do that this weekend
