I've just recieved this message from the Eruhini and thought I shoudk share it
Hail to The Eruhini
I wanted to share with all of you that I have decided to step down as “Leader” of The Eruhini. I have named Chicien as my heir and she has graciously accepted the responsibility. Chicien has been with me from the very beginning and I believe has a good understanding of what The Eruhini is about. She also has extensive gaming and guild experience and I believe will be a great Leader.
The reason for my decision is somewhat motivated by the last Turbine announcement to push back the release date again. That news was the ember hot enough to stoke the fires of burn out on MEO for me, for now. (poetic, eh?!) However, a more driving reason is that I started this kinship to bring together a great bunch of Christians so that my 12 year old son and I could interact within a safe moral environment while playing a game in a world that we both love and that being Middle-Earth. Well, to date, I can say that at least half of that goal has been realized. The thing is that I’ve spent many cumulative hours on organizing, planning, artwork, forums, etc… to help make our kinship the best it can be. Although, very little of that time included my son except to show him artwork that I was putting together. And, though, the intention has been to do this together, the reality has not been so. I’ve very much enjoyed the opportunity to start and lead The Eruhini though un!
fortunately not in actual game-play. The best part about it has been the opportunity to interact with all of you to one degree or another. Thank you for that.
As I have expressed to Chicien and those on the High Council, I do plan on remaining a member of The Eruhini and will do what I can to help out when I can. I even still have my fingers crossed that we all will actually be able to play MEO together one day. For now though my efforts will be more towards my son and I getting together with the group to actually play online.
God Bless,
