In a village, near Ithilien, 28 years before the destruction of Sauron and his servants, a child was born. But this was no ordinary child. For this infant would soon play key points in the destruction of Sauron, and the freeing of Middle Earth.
As time passed from his birth, the infant grew, until he reached the age of five. Oddly before he could run and write he was able to wield many weapons of war. But most children at his age are running along getting into mishchief, but for him he always pretended he was off on an adventure fighting evil. When not knowing trouble was soon to strike.
By nightfall the village was raided by a few dozen orcs. Many villagers were killed, and the boy was seperated from everyone becuase of the chaos, and soon tripped over something and went into a deep sleep. Though when the first light of sun peeked through the tree branches, there were figures standing over him. Figures with pointy ears and of a tall stature. But that is all he saw until he went back into a slumber. When he finally awoke he found himself in the presence of elves, but not just any elves, elves of the mirkwood realm. Standing in front of him was the king himself, Master Greenleaf, who's son would soon play a role in the war of the ring.
Seasons flew by and Aduruth, who was given this name by the king, meant The Captain of Middle Earth in elvish, was reaching the age of seventeen. Finally being taught the ways of the elves Aduruth was determined to find out what happened to his family. So he left the realm of the elf to trade it in for the realm of men, Gondor, but not until he was presented by two legendary weapons from the king. A Mirkwood bow, once owned by a Prince of Mirkwood and a 1st age Longsword who's power was thought to be lost.
Two weeks of travel brought Aduruth to Minas Tirith, where he post-ponned his quest to aid his fellow man. Quickly he rose through the ranks of Gondor and in just two years Aduruth and his friend, Faramir son of the Steward, got the title of Captain's of Gondor. Although times were different and Rohan was in need of saving, and Aduruth saw this. With haste he went to see the Steward, and argued with him, pleeding to aid Rohan, but it was in vain. The mind of the Steward Denethor was corrupt and, growing with digust Denethor banished Captain Aduruth and his most loyal rangers from the realm of Gondor.
Knowing there was little time to waste Aduruth assembled his Rangers and rode through rohan to reach Rivendell, to hopefully catch up to Boromir, the oldest of the Stewards sons. There, Aduruth would hopefully tell Boromir of his father's madness, and for him to return to Minas Tirith at once.
But it was to no avail, and Elrond of Rivendell informed Aduruth and his Rangers that Boromir left with eight other companions, and that nothing would take them from there task.
Understanding what he must do now, Aduruth left Rivendell, along with his Rangers, and from that day on he battles the servants of Sauron from border to border, realm to realm.
Some say you can hear them, fighting continuesly. Never resting, until evil is stripped from these lands. But one thing is for certain, these men will always be known as The Rangers Of Middle Earth.
