Anyone interested in working on the next issue of The Peaceful Times? There sure is a lot of material to cover, so you shouldn't be at a loss for words Or................. do we drop it?

I would do it, but I really don't have the time at the moment. Plus I'm not exactly uptodate with the happening on the MEO forums. But if needs be, I can try to write something about the kinship happenings. I don't think we should drop it, at least not entirely. It can give us something to do while we wait for the game. Rather than leaving the responsibility on one person, maybe we should make a small group who can have different people writting different 'articles' and then somebody editing them all together

It would pretty much have to totally be about the kinship happenings. There has been really nothing in MEO besides some controversial threads upon the lack of Devs. (Very interesting read, I may add)

It would have to remain in the kinship for now too due to the inactivity of the boards.
Yep have to agree on the state of the MEO boards. Reminds me on Aliens when they say, Whatever happened here, I think we missed it". lol Sorry just had to try my humor out.

I have to say, that the comments on lack of information and lack of Devs seems to have been the only things going on that hasn't already been said a thousand times before.
The real intrest of the issue would have to be our kinship, and possibly the mass kinship list, I've found that quite a good look through.

Yeah, sorry I kind of left the Peaceful Times hanging. I'm all for continuing it, but it would have to be written by someone else for sure. I barely have time to log into the forums these days.

Well as I suggested in my latest announcement thing (which I would love to hear your thoughts on btw) we could form a group who write the PT rather than everything beig layed onto one person. What do you guys (and girl ) think?

I think it would be a good idea if we all say take one area and write about it. Say one person writes about: - What's been happening on the CoP boards
- What's been happening on the MEO forums
- What's been happening in the Kinship friendship matters
Or something like that, then someone puts it together. PS those were just examples, we can work out what area each person covers.

They seem like reasonable areas to me Tin But I don't know if anybody else has any suggestions. But we can use them as a basis. Now, who wants to help write it? I'm happy to be involved but don't want to have too much responsivility Come on, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to boss me around ;D

I'm happy to help write part of it, though I don't tend to have too much to do with friendships and only look at a few sections on MEO. But I'll help with some.

I would help, but I really don't have too much time to. Maybe I can after I get some of my pile of homework done (which I did not fall off of, but came pretty close) and once I heal a little more.

Perhaps the Peaceful times could be more about what's going on in-game, that is, when it comes out.

It will definately cover that when the game is released. I think one of the main reasons for the PT is so that members can keep up to date with what's happening, and this would include in game stuff. During our meeting last night, we've got a little bit closer to deciding on who will do what. This is just preliminary and we need to seeif anyone else would like to gather information for it or write bits of it Tinorfithiel:- Kinship Stuff, General Game Design, Editing Milanthir:- Off-topic, Role Playing, Announcements Elindir:- Other Kinships, Game Room, JRR Tolkien At the moment they're just split into areas of the officials which we each visit the most often. Obviously, if anyone else would like to do any of these boards, we can rearrange. Also, we might dedicate someone to just doing stuff about our friends

I think I could do some sort of editorial column. Just about MEO or even ME in general. (I think that should be enough subject matter )

You guys said at the meeting that you needed to discuss the Peaceful Times with me before you could make any definate decisions? What is it you would like to know, exactly?

Basically, I think we wanted to know if you wanted to be any part of it. I believe before, but I am too lazy too look back in the thread, that you said you would be a part of its creation.
So would you want to be?

I would take a small part in it, yes. I'm not sure exactly what I would like to do with it, but you guys may delegate responsibility to me

If you haven't yet, check out the Meeting Minutes. We've been discussing the PT yet again and I would like us to finally make a start on it again. This is partly to do with the new release of info on the officials and partly to keep us busy. So, everyone to your posts and choose what you're going to start writting about. I think I'm going to start by writting about Turbine aquiring the licence and therefore being able to release information again.
*Starts writing*

So far only Myself and Tin have written anything for the PT. If you feel like adding anything to it, then don't hesitate to send either a PM or e-mail to Tin with your article.
